Summer 2020 has been the year of the sidewalk. We’ve gotten drunk on the sidewalk, ate at fine dining restaurants on the sidewalk, and even went on romantic dates. If you are like me then you are over sidewalk dining. A lot may not know but there are outdoor dining available in NYC that does not require being on the sidewalk.
Here is a list of places you can eat and drink outside that is not on the sidewalk.
Franklin Park
If you are familiar with restaurants in Crown Heights than you heard of Franklin Park. Franklin Park has a huge outdoor patio area that is perfect for social distancing. You can grab a drink and burger from their attached restaurant Dutch Boy Burger.
The Baylander
The Baylander is located on a boat in Harlem. It has views of the west side of Manhattan and New Jersey, it is the ideal place to impress someone on a date night.
Santiago Beer Garden
Santiago Beer Garden is the Instagram friendly restaurant of the list. The atmosphere will definitely catch your follower’s attention. They also have happy hour and good Spanish food match the decor.
Gran Electrica
If you want to visit Dumbo but do not want sidewalk dining than visit Gran Electrica. Gran Electrica has street-style tacos and great drinks to match. Its located directly under the Brooklyn Bridge.
